Series Rules
The series is scored for both an open division and in separate age
groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and over. The
runners with the most points at the end of the year will receive
awards. To be eligible, a runner must compete in at least three
series races. For the open division, the first place runner is
assigned 10 points, the second place runner is assigned 9 points, etc.
For each age group, the top 5 runners in each race will receive
points, with the first runner being assigned 5 points, etc. The more
races in the series that you run, the more points you get. Your best 5
races count toward the competition.
